Icons for Powering Business

More than half of the world’s largest companies, including 9 out of 10 retailers, are powered by Google Cloud – the same infrastructure that runs Gmail, YouTube, and Search.

As Google continues to expand its Cloud offering, the team asked Office to create icons for new product additions. This includes three security solutions — Google Security Ops, Mandiant, and Threat Intelligence — that help companies detect and respond to cyberattacks; and Distributed Cloud, hardware and software solutions that extend Google Cloud infrastructure to the edge and into data centers. It also includes Google AI Hypercomputer, a supercomputer architecture designed to better run AI-powered programs.

We created the five new icons to align with the Google Cloud visual ecosystem, and to work in various sizes across applications, from phone screens to billboards.

Our long-standing partnership with Google goes back to when Office was asked to create the ubiquitous Chrome icon.
