Seeding a Global Movement
The climate crisis is the issue of our time. If all of the current pledges of governments, corporations, and investments to reduce carbon emissions are fully implemented, we’re still not on course to achieve a livable planet.
Project Dandelion, a new women-led global climate justice campaign, responds to this challenge with a message of hope. Introduced by Connected Women Leaders and Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland and Chair of The Elders, the project aims to unite two billion leaders, NGOs, movement and individuals worldwide in action — harnessing this collective power to pressure leaders to do more, and with more urgency. The talented team at social impact agency WRTHY developed the name, brand strategy and campaign, and brought Office on to create Project Dandelion's visual identity system.
The logo represents people uniting, as well as the dandelion, a symbol of resilience. As one of the few flowers that blooms across continents, it shares the same goal as the project: spreading countless seeds and continuing to grow. Designed to embody the bold nature of the work, the visual system evokes the strength and sense of optimism behind building a climate-safe world.
