Pearl turns AI compute into currency

As Pearl Research Labs prepared to launch PRL, the first AI-native cryptocurrency, Office created a visual identity for a category that didn't exist yet.

Building on Pearl’s existing logotype, Office developed a living visual language inspired by the network itself.

At the heart of the system is a family of parametric pearls. Like the protocol, they begin as individual nodes and grow into larger, interconnected networks, visualizing how value is created collectively.

A restrained palette of black and white is paired with subtle pearlescent tones, while textures inspired by oyster shells introduce depth, movement and materiality. Together, these elements balance the precision of the underlying technology with the beautiful, natural qualities of a pearl.

The result is an identity that feels both technical and alive, a visual system for a new kind of economic infrastructure.
