Making Magic
There’s a new happy spot in San Francisco. Magic Donuts & Coffee, the latest outpost from the team at Bacchus Management Group (best known for their Michelin-starred restaurants), opened earlier this month, and has been selling out of their sourdough donuts daily.
Office developed the branding based on the restaurant's mission of being a place "where people can’t help but smile.”
As a nod to magic, a donut-loving bunny serves as the mascot. But instead of being pulled from a magician’s hat, it’s illustrated in a range of SF settings. We also designed the packaging, signage, menu boards, uniforms and swag to complement the sprinkle-inspired interiors that were developed by Stephen Brady of S.B. Brady Design and Left Coast Design.
Magic Donuts & Coffee joins Bacchus restaurants La Connessa and soon-to-be-opened Louie’s Original at the base of Potrero Hill, as part of the new luxury Mason on Mariposa development.
