Fanta is known around the world for its fun, playful personality – which goes hand in hand with the product’s vibrant color, bold fruit taste, and tingly carbonation. A product of The Coca-Cola Company, it’s distributed in 190 countries.
As the leader in its category, Fanta had been visually copied by competitors over the years. The brand needed to stand out in an increasingly cluttered landscape, and maintain its relevance with teens, without alienating moms.
Based on the brand’s vision to “create more play in the world,” Office developed Fanta’s design strategy, comprehensive visual identity system, packaging system, point-of-sale marketing, video, and select advertising.
The Office team wanted Fanta to stand out with a bold design that's rooted in the brand's orange heritage -- and also embodies its imaginative, playful, life-is-good spirit.
Consistent design principles created a strong foundation for dozens of Fanta variants and sub-brands. A range of branding elements allows the Fanta team to emphasize different messages, resulting in a system that is flexible enough to work in 190 different markets.
