When most people think of Sesame Street, they think of Big Bird, Bert & Ernie, and the much-loved television show that's aired on PBS for the past 40+ years. Fewer people know about Sesame Workshop's important initiatives that are helping kids and their families around the world.
Office created an annual report concept that emphasized the range of issues that Sesame Workshop is addressing — from slowing the spread of AIDS in Africa, to teaching respect and tolerance in the Middle East, to fighting childhood obesity in the U.S. To match the richness of the stories, the visuals mix Muppet images with hand-cut paper collages, a kid's drawing, photos of families, and a letter from a grateful mom.
The goal was to tell stories in a distinctly "Sesame" way — giving potential funders a reason to believe, to care, and to act, moving them to support Sesame Workshop's incredible work.
